A real message ended up in Screened
Open the Screened tab, find the message, and tap Not junk. It moves back to your inbox and that sender is never screened again. Move to inboxmoves the message back without changing how the sender is treated.
A junk message got through
Most likely one of three things: the sender is in your contacts, you have written to that number before, or the message did not match any current pattern. Long-press the message, or use the menu in the conversation, and choose Mark as junk. It moves to Screened and the app remembers the sender. Block number does the same and silences that number's calls too.
My free screens ran out
Every three months, 20 screened texts and 20 screened calls are free. After that, junk still arrives, marked "Would be screened", until you pick a plan in Settings: monthly, yearly, or five years.
How do I switch back to my old messaging app?
Open Android Settings, go to Apps, then Default apps, then SMS app, and pick the app you want. All your messages stay where they were. TextMeNot keeps nothing you cannot see.
Where did RCS chat go?
Google does not let other apps use RCS. While TextMeNot is your messaging app, you use SMS and MMS. Read the full explanation.
Calls are being silenced that should ring
Add the number to your contacts, or open the Calls tab, tap the menu on that entry, and choose Always allow. You can also turn call screening off in Settings.
